INTRODUCTION
With the aim of ensuring equal opportunities within the company, Bagno Venezia has implemented a management system focused on respecting gender equality in accordance with the Reference Practice UNI/PdR 125. We are committed to supporting and enhancing these principles, which we consider key factors for growth and success.
By gender equality, we mean a condition in which all individuals receive equal treatment, with equal ease of access to resources and opportunities, regardless of their gender. A condition where the work environment is free from gender-based discrimination, violence, or harassment of any kind.
Therefore, in terms of gender equality, our company aims to create and maintain over time conditions where everyone collaborating with us receives equal treatment, with equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, ensuring a workplace free from gender-based discrimination, violence, or harassment of any kind.
Reference Standards
The Reference Practice UNI/PdR 125 is a guideline for gender equality management systems that involves adopting specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) regarding gender equality policies within organizations.
It provides for the measurement, reporting, and evaluation of gender-related data within organizations, aiming to bridge existing gaps, incorporate the new gender equality model into the company’s DNA, and produce sustainable, long-lasting change.
The standard identifies 6 distinct Strategic Areas:
- Culture and strategy
- Governance
- Human resources management processes
- Gender-neutral growth opportunities within the company
- Gender pay equity
- Parental protection and work-life balance
The company has therefore defined Policies, procedures, practices, and codes of conduct to ensure compliance with Gender Equality principles in accordance with the aforementioned standards.
The company has decided to submit its Management System to specific audit and certification/attestation by a third-party body.
